Purpose: Your company uses BambooHR to keep track of and manage your employee information. This article will show you how to log in to BambooHR to update your personal information, request time off, view the Company Directory and Org Chart, and how to download and Configure BambooHR’s Mobile App.

Welcome to BambooHR. We are excited that you will be using the BambooHR to keep track of and manage your employee information. If you haven’t already, soon you will receive an email inviting you to set up a password and log in to the BambooHR.

Any time you need to login after that, simply go to the login portal and enter your BambooHR domain name to log in.

Take a look at the address bar when you are logged in to BambooHR (or ask a colleague, since you are not logged in). The text just before .bamboohr.com is your domain.

Once there, enter your email address and password you set to log in. Each time you log in, you will be taken to home. This is where you will see all your company wide and personally relevant information and notifications.

Its also where you are able to request time off. Once your manager approved or denies the request, you will get a notification via email. In addition to requesting time off, you can also view your detailed time off history by clicking on one of your time off balances.

The “My Info” tab allows you to review and update your personal information based on the customized settings your company has selected. In some cases, certain information may need to be updated by your HR department.

If the company directory or org chart has been shared with you, you will see an employee’s tab where you can see basic job information and contact details. One last thing, a files tab will appear if any company files have been shared with you by an administrator.

How To Download and Configure BambooHR’s Mobile App

iPhone:

  1. Search for BambooHR in the App Store. Once you locate the app in the search results, tap on the download option. Once the app is installed, tap Open.
  2. Enter the full email address that you use when logging in to BambooHR. Then tap Continue.
    1. If you’d rather log in with your domain, tap Log in with that instead. If your email address is associated with two or more BambooHR accounts, you will be required to enter your domain after inputting your email address.
  3. Once you’ve entered your email address, you will be required to enter your password to log in. You can click Show Password to view your password before logging in. Then tap Continue.
  4. Upon logging in to the BambooHR mobile app, you will get a prompt asking you to opt in or opt-out of receiving notifications for time off requests.

Android

  1. Search for BambooHR in the Google Play App Store. Once you locate the app in the search results, tap on the BambooHR icon.
  2. Tap Install and the app will download to your mobile device. After installing the app, you can open the app by tapping Open or the BambooHR Mobile App icon found on your Android device.
  3. Enter the full email address that you use when logging in to BambooHR. You can click Show Password to view your password before logging in. Then tap Continue. Then tap Continue.
    1. If you’d rather log in with your domain, tap Log in with that instead. If your email address is associated with two or more BambooHR accounts, then you will be required to enter your domain after you input your email address.
  4. Once you’ve entered your email address, you will be required to enter your password to log in. Then tap Continue.
