How To Access The Methodist Employee Portal:  Methodist Health System

To access the Methodist Employee Portal, MHSintranet or HCS Performance Manager from home, you will need to access the Employee Portal with your network user name and password using Multi-Factor Authentication. Methodist Health System employees are also able to access Workday and their legacy Lawson system from their homes.

The Methodist Employee Portal comes with many options to make it easy to find employee data, get work done, and fill in the gaps. How To Access The Methodist Employee Portal: Workday and Lawson

Methodist Health System employees are able to access Workday and their legacy Lawson system from their homes. Workday gives you access to human resources, supply chain, and finance functions, so you can do things like:

  • View your pay stub
  • Change federal tax withholding
  • Update your address information
  • View PTO/EIB balances
  • Many other features

If you are on a device not connected to the Methodist network, clicking the Workday link above will require a DUO mobile token for authentication. The DUO Mobile app can be requested by sending an email from your MHS email to [email protected], stating your name, cell phone number, and mobile device type: Apple or Android.

Once your access is configured, you will receive a text message to complete the DUO set-up process. For pay records or W2s prior to April 1, 2022, click here to access our legacy Lawson system.

Access to Employee Self Service and MHSintranet

To access Employee Self Service, mhsintranet or HCS Performance Manager from home, you will need to access the Employee Portal with your network user name and password using Multi-Factor Authentication.

NOTE: The Multi-Factor Authentication initial set up must be performed from your work location. Step-by-step instructions are found in the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup Instructions PDF.

You will also need to download the Citrix Receiver application to your home computer. Citrix and MFA allow access to these tools in a secure manner.

To download Citrix to your home computer:

  2. After Citrix has been loaded, follow the steps below to access the Employee Portal.

If you already have Citrix downloaded on your computer:

Click here to access the Employee Portal. Sign in to their network with your username and password and authenticate using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

After authentication, select the appropriate application: mhsintranet or HCS Performance Manager.

Please note: For Employee Self Service and HCS Performance Manager, you will need to sign in again with your network user name and password.
