How To Access The UIC Employee Portal is the official login page for online management system of UIC employees. Through the UIC Employee portal, all the staffs can access and manage their accounts online from home, at work or on the go 24 hours 7 days in week.

The UIC employee portal provides access to forms, documents, procedures, FAQs, how-to tips, and other key information about being a University of Illinois Chicago employee. Employees can also find answers to questions about their employment, benefits, and professional development in this section.

New Employees

Before you begin, please make sure you have your:

  • UI New Hire Login ID and Password – Your hiring unit will provide this to you either in person or through a system-generated email. If you haven’t received this, please check with your hiring manager or HR contact. If your password no longer works, please ask your hiring contact to reset this for you. Please note: employees with assigned NetIDs cannot use their NetID and NetID password to access UI New Hire.
  • Work history and education information. Please check with your hiring contact about what, specifically, you need to enter for your new job, as these requirements vary by department.
  • Bank information – You will need your routing and account number to set up your direct deposit (these numbers can be found on a check or bank statement).

How To Access The UIC Employee Portal

All users of the UIC employee portal must log in anonymously. They will be diverted to the dashboard page, where they can get to their data, whenever they have signed in. To access your account, follow the steps below.

Non-Employees: Login to this portal requires DUO Multifactor Authentication (MFA). If you can’t access the University NetID Center to sign up for DUO 2FA, please contact your Hospital sponsor/Access Requestor to renew your University affiliation and netid.

Once logged, you can access My UI Info. My UI Info enables University employees to securely view and update their personal and employment information. For additional paper forms necessary to make certain changes, see HR Forms.
