UIOWA Employee Self Service – MyUI Portal – myui.uiowa.edu
The UIOWA Employee Self Service portal now call MyUI allows employees to access their Payroll information and forms. As a student, you log onto MyUI using your Hawk ID and password. You will need to do this in order to view your Admissions Profile and, if applicable, your financial aid award.
However, there are certain information you cannot access until your appointment form has been created by your department and processed by University Human Resources.
Logging into UIOWA Employee Self Service – MyUI Portal for the First Time
An applicant to the University of Iowa can log in to MyUI. Instructions for logging in for the first time to MyUI, as well as an initial password, will be mailed to you by the Office of Admissions. If you have any problems logging in to MyUI, contact the Office of Admissions, 319 335-3847 .
The normal method for logging in to MyUI and virtually all other systems at the University of Iowa is the HawkID and HawkID password. If it does not work, call Admissions to verify your HawkID and/or have your HawkID password reset.
Once you are successfully able to log in to MyUI using your HawkID and password, you should set up your password reset tool. If you set up the password reset tool , you will easily be able to reset your HawkID password yourself if you should ever forget it at any time in the future.
UIOWA Employee Self Service Portal
The MyUI login is easy. It is your HawkID. If you have any questions about the HawkID, go to the HawkID site otherwise follow the step below to access the UIOWA Employee Self Service – MyUI Portal – myui.uiowa.edu.
- Go to the HawkID Login portal.
- When you are ready to log in, type your HawkID and password in the spaces provided. If you do not have your own HawkID, your student will need to invite you to set one up.
The first time you login to MyUI you must use the password sent to you by letter from the Office of Admissions. If you have lost this number, contact the Office of Admissions at [email protected] or (319) 335 – 3847 .
You can at any time that you are logged in to MyUI go to “Student Records / My UIowa” and then “My Password” to create a password which suits you. Your password must be at least 6 digits long and must contain at least 2 letters and 2 numbers.
The HawkID system is very secure, provided you do your part in protecting your password. Since your HawkID and password work in so many systems at the UI, you will be required to change your password periodically.
What Happens if I forget my Password?
You can get help with your password in various ways, depending on your student status
- If you are a new admit to the University and have received your letter of admissions with your HawkID and password but can’t remember your password, you can request that your password be reset by contacting the Office of Admissions at [email protected] or (319) 335 – 3847 .
- If you are a current or former student and you forget your MyUI password, you can click on the Forgot your password? link on the MyUI homepage. If you created password hints previously, you can access them there; otherwise there are phone numbers you can call for assistance.
- You may also go to the ITS Service Catalog and click on HawkID under the ITS Services heading for assistance
- If you are a former student whose last attendance was before 2003, please contact the UI Service Center at [email protected] or (319) 384 – 4300 to set up an alumni account for MyUI access
